Idle Hands (2021)
As a sculptor stuck in quarantine during the Covid-19 pandemic, I was presented with a foreign issue. Trapped in a designated isolation dorm room for two weeks, what could I use to continue creating? The three pieces in this series are inspired by Prisoners’ Inventions by Angelo, and aim to give the viewer a glimpse of what can be created in confinement.
